Pregnancy & Chiropractic - Week 15 with Erin

Hi Everybody,

I thought we could continue talking about nutrition and pregnancy since we are celebrating National Nutrition Month at our office. One of the things us pregnant women need to worry about are our cravings. I am just starting to crave certain foods and I'm learning how to keep these cravings in check. Cravings occur because we are lack...ing something in our diet. If you have a balanced diet you will have less cravings. These are some of the ways I am helping myself to curb the cravings which are not healthy to me or my baby. When I crave sweets I eat fruit instead of candy. When I want fast food I stay home and make popcorn using natural butter. When I crave ice cream I eat it in moderation, because remember dairy can be a healthy weight gain source if consumed correctly.
