Pregnancy and Chiropractic: Week 16 with Erin

Since I have entered my second trimester, I have been battling tension headaches. There are two main factors causing my headaches: my hormone levels and pressure on my nerves caused by my body changes.
When Dr. Hunter adjusts me for these headaches, I feel instant relief that lasts about two days. The adjustments relieve the pressure on my nerves and this helps regulate how the blood vessels in my nerves constrict and contract.
I also try to maintain my glucose level throughout the day be eating small snacks. A little caffeine can also help. I will drink a glass of tea or eat a piece of chocolate.
