Pregnancy & Chiropractic : Week 17 with Erin

For the last couple of weeks I have been noticing my abdomen muscles are slowly weakening. I'm having a hard time getting out of bed, standing up from the floor, and lifting small things such as a gallon of milk.

What is happening is as my belly grows out it is stretching my abdomen muscles more, causing them to be weak and strained. By getting a low back adjustment it temporarily resets the abdomen muscles at a new level so they can start firing or working again. As your belly grows, you need to continually reset those muscles. Keep in mind I get a full body adjustment one to two times per week.
