Pregnancy & Chiropractic: Week 25 with Erin

Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) is another symptom that can pop up in your second or third trimester. If you are feeling tingling, crawling sensations, or an uncontrollable urge to move your legs you may be experiencing RLS. There isn't a straight forward answer as to what causes RLS. As talked about in previous weeks, swelling and pressure can cause ...these tingling sensations. Also iron deficiency can be a cause of RLS.

If you think you have RLS you may need to be adjusted. By getting your low back & legs adjusted it will reduce the swelling & pressure in your legs. Some easy things you can do at home are: check to see if your prenatal vitamins have enough iron in them, keep track of the foods you are eating and don't lay down until you are ready to fall asleep.
